Sophie Cachia surprised her followers by confirming that she is expecting her third child this week.
The announcement raised questions about her current relationship status after recently becoming single or whether she is going through pregnancy as a single mother.
The 33-year-old mum blogger has had a colourful dating history after splitting from her husband, AFL star Jaryd Cachia, in 2019 and striking up a number of romances with women.
Sophie enjoyed a four-year marriage to Jaryd, 33, after tying the knot in October 2015.
The couple welcomed their first child, Bobby, the previous year, but after Sophie gave birth to daughter Florence in 2017, she began to question her life and identity.
Sophie and Jaryd didn’t split until September 2019, but in the final year of their relationship the influencer, who now identifies as bisexual, explored her sexuality.
With the support of her husband, Sophie enjoyed an “incredible” period of self-discovery in the final months of her marriage and began having sexual relationships with women.
In her 2022 memoir, Then There Was Her, she detailed that something clicked in her mind when she met an AFLW player just five weeks after giving birth for the second time.

The pair met at work when she had to speak on an AFL panel and they quickly struck up a sexual relationship, with Sophie’s husband’s consent.
Jaryd did his best to support his wife in her exploration of her sexuality, but she confessed in her memoirs that he struggled with self-esteem during that period.
The couple officially split in 2019 and Sophie moved on the following year with new partner Alanna Kennedy, a professional soccer player for the Matildas.
In a candid interview with Mamamia on the No Filter podcast, Sophie explained why her marriage ended before pursuing a relationship with another woman.
“I had a beautiful man in my life and I still do. He’s an amazing father and an amazing friend to me, but why can’t women aspire to something more?” she said.
“I realized that married life wasn’t what I wanted. And it wasn’t that I realized I like women now so I’m leaving my marriage,” it wasn’t that. I realized I wanted more.”

Sophie said she met Alanna, 29, through work but their relationship began to blossom when they started chatting on the phone and on social media.
“She was abroad for the first five or six months. We didn’t start a relationship straight away, but we definitely connected straight away,” Sophie explained.
‘In a way, (Alanna) changed my life in the sense that… she made me realize that I can actually see myself in a relationship with a woman long-term.’
However, things weren’t meant to be between Sophie and Alanna, as the couple split in early 2020, just days after they finally went public with their secret romance.
At the time, Sophie shared a post on Instagram saying she was “defeated, humiliated and devastated” about her “private life.”
While he did not specifically mention Alanna at the time or give details of what happened, he went on to confess that he was experiencing “betrayal and heartbreak.”
After splitting from Jaryd, Sophie began dating Matildas star Alanna Kennedy, 29 (right), but they split in early 2020.
The following year, Sophie struck up another romance with WNBL star Maddie Garrick, and Sophie proposed to her sports partner in March 2022.
Unfortunately, the engagement didn’t last the year, as Sophie brutally dumped the basketball player just eight months after the proposal.
The Australian businesswoman and former Survivor star made the shocking announcement on Instagram, hinting at a breach of trust and betrayal.
Their split came just a month after the couple began a long-distance relationship when Maddie, 32, moved to Florence, Italy, to work for a local women’s basketball team.
“It is with great sadness and pain that I have regrettably made the decision to end my relationship,” Sophie wrote on Instagram Stories at the time.
‘When I proposed to her, I did so with the guarantee of loyalty, trust, honesty and respect on my part.
‘Despite all the love I still have, I have made this decision to lead by example what I know I deserve in life, for myself and for my children.’
The following year, Sophie struck up another romance with WNBL star Maddie Garrick, 32 (right), and the influencer proposed to her sports partner in March 2022.

She added: “Even though I am suffering, life must go on. I still have to go to work with my companies and, most importantly, be a mother and role model for my two children.”
Just two months after their split, Sophie began dating AFLW star Sophie Van De Heuvel, although they did not go public until April 2023.
Sophie and Heuvel’s relationship lasted for a year, and the couple decided to unfollow each other on Instagram in January of this year.
They chose to spend Christmas and New Year apart, with Sophie posting snaps of their celebrations with her “chosen family” – where Heuvel, 23, was noticeably absent.
The couple kept their romance relatively private over the course of their relationship, with neither appearing in photographs on each other’s feeds.

Sophie has not been linked to anyone since her split from Heuvel, although there were rumors that she had started dating another basketball player earlier this year.
Now the WAG-turned-influencer has confirmed she is expecting her third child.
She made the announcement with sweet photos of herself snuggled in bed with her two children on Wednesday.
Sophie wrote “Mine” in the caption, along with a heart emoji and three child emojis, hinting that she might be going through this pregnancy as a single mother.
