We already knew that Horizon Zero Dawn, long one of the PlayStation 4’s prized exclusive songs, would make its way to PC. And now we know exactly when that will happen: the game will be released on August 7. It retails through Steam and the Epic Games Store for $ 49.99.
Guerilla Games, the Sony developer behind the heat title and upcoming PlayStation 5 sequel, today released a new trailer for the full edition of Horizon Zero Dawn. The video includes a number of features and improvements for the PC version, including ultra-wide screen support, an unlocked frame rate, dynamic foliage, deep graphics adjustment settings, enhanced reflections, and extensive controller options. It all looks fantastic in this 90-second trailer, which also features an in-game benchmark tool.
In March, said Hermen Hulst – the head of PlayStation Worldwide Studios Horizon’s PC port that “I think it is important that we remain open to new ideas on how to introduce more people to PlayStation and show people what they have been missing.” Horizon Zero Dawn is the first exclusive PS4 to move to a second platform.
At Sony’s PS5 event last month, Guerrilla announced a stunning looking PS5 sequel Horizon Zero Dawn called Horizon Forbidden West. However, there is currently no release window for the expected follow-up.
