It’s been a year since the launch of the new PlayStation Plus packages, and on this occasion Sony celebrates this month by distributing some free rewards to subscribers to the service.
Through a post on the PlayStation blog, Sony announced that it will provide a set of avatars and backgrounds that will be available for free download on PlayStation 5 and 4 devices.
Both PlayStation Plus members and non-members will also receive activation codes for personalized avatars commemorating some of the popular titles featured on the service. All you have to do is monitor your email, while the codes that you will receive will be activated from the 20th to the 30th of June.
A set of images designed from PlayStation games will also be available to be used as desktop wallpapers for personal computers as well as mobile devices. Pictures can be downloaded from this page What’s New During the same period that images and avatars for PlayStation devices will be available.
Sony also announced the opening of the PlayStation Plus service for free for online games next week. Where players will be able to enter the online phase of all games available on PlayStation 5 and 4 for free without the need to subscribe to the monthly service.
The open period will extend for days only, it will start on Saturday 24th of June and end at the end of next Sunday. Where everyone who wants to take advantage of this offer will need to have a subscription to the PlayStation Network, PSN.
Sony recently revealed the upcoming PlayStation Plus games to the Extra and Premium game library next Tuesday. The package includes 22 different games for the PlayStation 5 and 4. You can view the full list and more details here.
