Sony recently added an interesting product to its audio line in India. It is the MHC-V21D portable speaker system with Bluetooth, USB and NFC connectivity.
The Bluetooth-enabled loudspeaker is intended to provide powerful audio output on the go, because it has a built-in carrying handle that lets you drag it with ease. In the past, Sony also combines the illuminating light function that can be seen on some other high-end Sony speakers.
Unlike conventional portable speakers, it is equipped with a built-in DVD player that can play high-quality content via HDMI. It is also equipped with LDAC that is claimed to transmit three times more data than conventional Bluetooth.
Furthermore, Sony introduced some nice features for those who want to be creative with audio. Users can play with DJ effects to mix and produce their own music tracks using various pre-loaded effects such as flanger, wah, insulator and pan. These can be used to play with frequencies, create flanger effects, flush sound over speakers, and more. There is also a Fiestable app to use party functions such as DJ Control, DJ effect, samplers and equalizer.
We have already seen Sony's interesting motion control function on high-end audio products, but the company has not missed it either. This allows them to operate their system with only a movement of their smartphones. DJ effects, play / pause and volume options can all be treated with the motion control function.
The audio system is also powered by Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), which is said to increase the quality of compressed music files.
Finally, it also supports the Sony Music Center app and the Wireless Party Chain feature that allows users to pair up to 50 compatible speakers.
How and where to buy?
The new partysystem costs Rs 18.990 and is available at electronics stores across the country, as well as at Amazon and Flipkart.
Sony also bundles the Sony F-V120 microphone with the loudspeaker, but the offer is only valid for a limited period of time.
