Former cross-code star and heavyweight boxer Sonny Bill Williams has labeled YouTube star Logan Paul a “tool” and a “man who stands for nothing” in a bizarre Twitter diatribe.
Williams, 37, – who infamously left his Bulldogs teammates and the NRL in 2008 to play rugby union with Toulon in France – also told his more than 936,000 followers that he has no desire to fight Paul in the ring despite him save on social media.
“No, I don’t want to fight him (Logan Paul),” Williams tweeted.
“I just don’t want my sons to be like him or all those other tools or so-called influencers who don’t have a moral compass.
“I don’t need anyone in this world except my creator.”

Paul has yet to publicly respond to Williams’ Twitter spray.
Earlier, ‘SBW’ – whose career record as a heavyweight boxer is 9-1 – expressed interest in a possible fight with professional boxer Jake Paul – Logan’s younger brother.
“Looks like I’m on the hit list,” he said tweeted last April.
“I’m not going to hate this guy at all because I respect what he’s done. I also really respect his skills as a boxer. But if he wants something, he can get it!
‘Sincerely – your first loss’.
Influencer Logan Paul is currently on the books of World Wresting Entertainment (WWE).
The 27-year-old is an online sensation, with an estimated 23 million subscribers to his YouTube channel.
Some of his comedic videos — including filming the corpse of a suicide victim in Japan in 2017 — have been viewed more than five billion times.
If he were to fight Williams, Paul is no newcomer to the gloves.
He has fought British YouTuber KSI twice in June 2021 as well as former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Also referred to as ‘The Maverick’, Paul also has 25.1 million Instagram followers and his net worth was recently estimated at $50 million.
