EXCLUSIVE: Nine star Sonia Kruger to jump ship to Seven after being offered 'more than a million dollars' – and could be the new host of Big Brother
Morning Show host Sonia Kruger will leave Nine for the Seven Network for a 'seven figure sum', industry sources confirmed.
Seven chairman Kerry Stokes is said to be a 'huge fan' or Kruger's work but insiders are keeping their exact role in the network under wraps.
"She's leaving because Channel Seven are prepared to pay more money than Channel Nine," an insider told Daily Mail Australia.
Kruger has been with Nine since 2012.

A TV industry source said: 'Sonia has been a much loved member of the Nine team for so many years and everyone has been very gracious and wished her well.
'Unfortunately, Nine just couldn't justify paying what Seven is prepared to pay.
"Nine made it very clear that the amount of money she wanted would have been fiscally irresponsible for their business."
TV executives are said to have suggested Big Brother or House Rules could be a good home for Kruger.
The network has confirmed the reality show will return to screens next year.
A separate industry source quipped: "It is great to have Sonia back but it is surprising that the network has found the money to pay so much."
"Maybe the Cash Cow is kicking in."
The Nine Network declined to comment. A Seven spokesman was contacted for comment.
