The 68-year-old veteran hitmaker posted a photo of a prominent rock in the surf, which she photographs annually to commemorate the death of her ‘amazing crazy friend’ Leah from cancer.

“This is the last photo I took of Leah’s rock from my beach house. I’ve had this house for almost 30 years. It appears he was lost in the fire last night,” Diane further wrote Instagram.

“A rainbow shines on it, which I consider a sign of hope for all beings affected by this tragedy.”

Warren also assured her 249,000 social media followers that the chickens, ducks, goats, cows and horses living on her rescue farm are “fine, which is the most important thing.” Stay safe everyone.”

The Songwriters Hall of Famer — who previously had a home damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake — spends most of her time writing future classics in her cluttered Hollywood Hills office.
