Sofia Vergara says she’s “a little single” even though she’s been linked to orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman for over a year.
The America’s Got Talent judge, 52, who recently put on a busty display in New York City, got candid about her relationship status during an interview with US Weekly on Thursday.
When asked if she still thinks New York City is the best place to date after making the comment earlier this year, the star immediately agreed.
‘Completely. Actually, I was talking about it yesterday because I’m single now, so… sort of single. Anyway,’ he laughed.
The Modern Family star’s comments come as a surprise, as she was recently spotted with her rumored boyfriend while driving in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The duo were first linked in October 2023 when mutual friends set up a blind date. At the time, a source told Life & Style that the orthopedic surgeon impressed Vergara by showing up to their first date with flowers and her favorite champagne.
They were seen a second time a month later in Santa Monica, leading fans to speculate that they were in a relationship.
Another of their first dates took place at Funke in Beverly Hills, and another source told People that Sofia was “going out and having fun.”
Weeks later, the Griselda star confirmed their relationship by posting photos of them together while on a family vacation in Italy.
Prior to their relationship, Sofia had been married to actor Joe Manganiello, 46, for eight years before ending their relationship last July.
Saliman is no stranger to dating actresses. He married actress Bree Turner, 47, in 2008. They have a daughter, Stella, 14, and a son, Dean, 12.
Turner filed for divorce in 2018, citing irreconcilable differences.
Saliman, who grew up in Denver, Colorado, earned his MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and embarked on a sports medicine fellowship at Stanford University.
While in that position, he worked with the San Francisco 49ers and the sports teams at Stanford and Santa Clara University, according to his website.

The source also noted that she is “very attracted to him and that” theirs is much more than a rebound.
They had reportedly “bonded over lost love and are having a great time with each other.”
