Kaley Cuoco took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter Matilda’s first birthday with a sweet treat tribute post on Saturday.
The 38-year-old actress, who shares her daughter with her boyfriend Tom Pelphrey, posted a video showing a carousel of photos highlighting her favorite moments with her baby.
She wrote a touching message to her daughter while pairing the post with Gabby Barrett’s Growin’ Up Raising You:

Cuoco recently spoke about fatherhood USA Today and offered expectant mothers and fathers some guidance on parenting tips.
‘My advice is not to follow any advice because every child is different. What my son needs is not what your son needs, and our home is different from yours, and it is survival. Do what you can do,’ he said.
Cuoco went on to state that she was not above distracting Matilda with screen time, although she understood that other parenting methods require strict restriction of access to television and movies.
‘If she’s going crazy and I leave her on the couch to watch a Disney movie, like thanks, you have 10 minutes. Brilliant. To me, that’s wonderful. Maybe there’s another mom who doesn’t want them to watch TV, and that’s okay too,” she said.
The actress also talked about how her daughter had developed an affinity for her phone strap.
‘He has all the toys in the universe, but all he wants is the leather strap for my phone… I ordered two leather straps on Amazon. I was like, “Here.” Then she bites my leather strap. That’s what she prefers,’ she stated.
The birthday post comes just a week after the passing of the Cuoco family’s German Shepherd Blue.
Last Wednesday, Kaley posted heartwarming photos of the “gentle” dog as she paid a lengthy tribute to him, expressing her grief and lamenting having to put him down.
“I have cried more over the loss of this beautiful creature than I have in a long time,” she said in an excerpt from the caption.
The actress noted that Blue was more of a family member than a pet.
Pelphrey praised her partner’s mothering skills and revealed that she is thriving: “She’s very good at it.”
