Hip hop legend and avid sports fan Snoop Dogg appeared on ESPN’s First Take on Friday and provided his analysis on the NFL quarterback’s image.

Although we’re only seven weeks into the NFL season, some of its brightest facilitators have returned from their layoffs and are already showing their star power on the field.

Speaking with Stephen A. Smith and Cam Newton, Snoop named his top three quarterbacks this year.

“You know Patrick Mahomes, ’cause he knows how to do it,” the rapper said when asked who he put in place of Texans star CJ Stroud. “Lamar Jackson is doing his thing.”

“I’m not going to put Josh Allen (above Stroud),” he added, concluding his top-3 list of Mahomes, Jackson and Stroud.

In pursuit of a third straight title, Mahomes has looked phenomenal as the Chieds are 6-0 to begin their quest for three titles. Mahomes has been efficient, completing 111 of 160 attempts for 1,235 and six touchdowns.

On the other hand, the reigning MVP in Jackson has led a four-game winning streak for the Ravens after losing their first two games. While his record is far from perfect, Jackson impressively completed 118 of 176 attempts for 1,529 yards and ten touchdowns.

However, with the conversation turning to Stroud, Snoop capitalized on his picks with a bold Super Bowl prediction if the Texans faced the Chiefs in the playoffs.

“If CJ beats Patrick Mahomes, he will win the chip,” he proclaimed. “If you want to take down Brady’s killer, you have to get everything.”

Now in his second year in the NFL, the Ohio State standout has been impressive as the Texans are 5-1 to start the season.

In six games, Stroud completed 142 of 208 passes for 1,577 yards and ten touchdowns.

“You could run into Patrick Mahomes and win and then lose to Lamar Jackson,” Smith responded.

Stroud will get a test of that sequence in December, as he is scheduled to face the Chiefs on the 21st and the Ravens on Christmas Day.

Last season, Stroud led the Texans to their first postseason appearance since 2019. Houston would beat the Browns in the wild card before falling to Jackson and Baltimore in the divisional playoffs.
