More than 125,000 Snapchat users worldwide complained about technical issues with the social media platform on Thursday night.
Users have reported that the app crashes every time they try to open it.
Snapchat acknowledged the issue and said it is working on a fix.
“We are aware of an issue that prevents some Snapchatters from logging in. Hold on, we’re investigating and working on a solution!’ the company’s support staff tweeted just before 7 p.m. EST.
The sweeping power cuts still seemed to be going on at 10:30 p.m.

Many Snapchatters took to Twitter to express their concerns about the outage.

“Didn’t know people were still actively using Snapchat omg,” wrote @itskeyon.

Social media users have taken to Twitter to voice their concerns over the Snapchat outage
