At the beginning of the short clip, the mom-of-one asks her followers if they ever shrink their clothes in the dryer – before showing a shot of herself in a dress that has done just that.

Bonnie stands in front of the mirror and sees a strapless purple dress that seems to have been cut above her waist.

In the next shot, she sees how she mixes a quarter cup of hair conditioner into a sink filled with hot water before adding her dress to the formula.

She added, “Soak in warm water with hair conditioner for 20-30 minutes! Stretch gently and let it dry! ‘

The conditioner works by relaxing the fibers of your crimped clothes and once they are relaxed, they become easier to stretch and reshape.

And while the top tip seems simple enough, many were surprised they hadn’t thought of it themselves.

“Omg, this can change lives,” one wrote, while a second was enthusiastic, “Great tip! This happens too often! ‘

A third agreed, “You just changed my life,” while a fourth said, “Thank you !!! I love this hack !!! ‘

Meanwhile, another suggested, “You can also hang dry things and they won’t shrink! But this is good to know in case I accidentally throw something in the dryer! ‘

One person went to the comment section and said enthusiastically, “You just changed my life!”
