Slash has broken his silence following the tragic death of his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight, 25, earlier this month.
The 58-year-old Guns N’ Roses legend announced the death of his beloved stepdaughter in a heartbreaking statement on Instagram last week. The cause of her death is currently unknown.
Over the weekend, Slash shared a touching selfie of Lucy-Bleu and detailed his pain at losing her.
She wrote: “My heart is forever broken. I will never stop missing you and remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity and beauty you have always been and continue to be.
“The brightest light in the lives of so many people who loved you so much. I find comfort in the hope that you are now at peace. I will love you forever.

According to Los Angeles Medical Examiner records obtained by In touch weekly Knight died on July 19 at a private residence.
The autopsy has been completed and the body is ready to be released, but the cause of death has been deferred pending further testing. An investigator has been assigned to the case.
Slash has cancelled four dates of his solo SERPENT Tour to mourn his devastating loss.
Her post read: ‘Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.
‘Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer and a lovely, adorable, sweet soul.
‘The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that speculation on social media be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.’
Slash first dated Lucy’s mother, Meegan Hodges, in 1989 before rekindling their relationship years later in 2015. Meegan shared her late daughter Lucy with Mark Knight.
Meegan also shared the same statement on her Instagram, writing: ‘I love you’

‘Countless opportunities and connections lost due to a disgustingly large ego, an insecure heart, and the fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job of being Lucy-Bleu. Peace.’
