A British tourist was left unconscious and covered in blood after being attacked by a group of Thai dancers fighting over customers.
Jack Fitzmaurice, 28, was drinking with a girl when others became jealous at a strip club in Pattaya, eastern Thailand, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The young tourist allegedly tried to end the argument, but it escalated before he found himself in the middle of 20 angry women.
Onlookers said a “Wild West-style bar fight” broke out with punches and kicks thrown into a tangle of chrome bars and stiletto heels.
Thai police eventually arrived to break up the fight at Paradise Agogo in the city’s Soi Buakhao neighborhood, an infamous party spot that attracts many British visitors.

He said, “I’ll be fine, I just want to get home and go to bed.”
Nick Hodge, a fellow Brit who was at the bar at the time, said the fight began when two of the girls began arguing over who had the right to the customer.
He said: “I think there was a bit of jealousy about who got which punter.” Before I knew it, the girls were fighting. The poor boy just tried to stop them and ended up getting severely beaten.
“There was hair being pulled and legs flying everywhere. Then the bar staff joined in and it became quite unpleasant. It was like a Wild West-style bar fight you see in old movies. Just angry.’

The fight quickly escalated and the nearly two dozen women destroyed nearby property.
The woman involved in the initial fight, Sunaree Tungprakhon, 35, told police she suffered a busted lip and cuts and bruises to her face.
She said her argument with a fellow dancer had caused the initial fight. However, she said she did not want to press charges because she feared “others involved would retaliate against her.”
She said: “There was a group of about 20 people, punching and kicking until my British friend was involved and was also injured.”
“I don’t want to have trouble with this group of people, I’m afraid it will be dangerous.”
Police said the British tourist and his partner had given statements to police. Officers are now reviewing CCTV and questioning bar staff and dancers.
