Skye Wheatley has unleashed an extraordinary tirade against her fellow social media influencers.
I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! The winner from Australia, 30, didn’t hold back in a lengthy rant shared on her Instagram stories, expressing her deep frustration and disappointment after recently witnessing bad behavior in the industry.
“Let me explain why I’m embarrassed to be called an ‘influencer,'” Skye began.
‘Most of them are stuck up, entitled, rude, inconsiderate and only care about two things… money and fame.
‘I’ve seen a lot of “tall poppy syndrome” lately. It hurts me a lot because I’m ALWAYS the first person to support others in the industry, but over time, when you never get the or the support, you just lose faith in humanity.’
Skye Wheatley has unleashed a passionate tirade on social media, taking aim at the influencer industry.
The 30-year-old winner of I’m A Celebrity Australia 2024 did not hold back in her criticism and expressed her deep frustration and disappointment with the behavior of many influencers.
Skye added that she was almost ready to report the “rude and selfish” criminals.
“People in this industry are so rude and selfish, it frustrates me to no end,” he said.
‘I so want to get people’s attention, but I won’t because I have a brand to defend and I’m passionate about being a KIND and beautiful person.

Unfortunately, not many people in the industry give a damn about that, so I refuse to be one of them.
‘Rant while maintaining my morals. Beautiful beautiful. Don’t even get me started on the people who have USED me. That’s a story for another day.’
It comes after Skye told her followers she was tired of fans asking her when her long-term partner Lachlan was planning to propose.
Skye recently revealed that she and Lachlan are always asked when they’re getting engaged.
Skye and Lachlan began dating in 2017 and have since welcomed two sons: Forest, five, and Bear, three.
Her followers took to the comments section to express that they can’t wait to see her as a bride if she gets married, while sharing their support for the couple.
They wrote: ‘Girl you know we’re ready for the dress’; I hate when people pressure someone to get married, do it when you feel good’;

‘Surely since you’re the queen of the jungle, I just want to see the epic wedding photos. I think after that emotional meeting on I’m a Celebrity, I’m sure he must be thinking about it.’
Skye recently gained a massive profile online after being crowned Queen of the Jungle 2024 on I’m A Celebrity Australia.
She has gained a whopping 42,000 followers since appearing on the show, bringing her total Instagram fan count to 660,000.
