A man has died on a footpath outside a home in western Sydney, with shocking images showing a pool of blood staining the concrete.

He is believed to be in his 30s but has not yet been formally identified.

Officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene and arrested another man nearby who is assisting police with their enquiries.

Melonba is a new suburb, created in 2020 and approximately 51 km northwest of Sydney’s CBD.
