Sky Sports apologizes after popular broadcaster Melissa Reddy used X-rated language saying Man United goalkeeper Andre Onana was ‘b********g his defenders’ for mistakes

Sky Sports were forced to issue an immediate apology for foul language ahead of their coverage of Manchester United’s Premier League season opener against Wolves.

Popular broadcaster Melissa Reddy was discussing the disciplinary approach taken by new Red Devils goalkeeper Andre Onana who moved to Old Trafford in a £47m summer deal with Inter Milan .

The 27-year-old shot-stopper is renowned for his no-nonsense approach and demonstrated his passionate approach after he yelled at Harry Maguire for making a mistake in a pre-season loss to Borussia Dortmund.

Onana had her first competitive start in Tuesday’s Premier League season opener for United against Wolves and used X-rated language as she described the Cameroonian as “b********g its defenders”.

Speaking ahead of the match, the 36-year-old explained: “He (Erik ten Hag) feels that in Onana he signed a great personality.” We have already seen glimpses of it.

‘He fucks his defenders when they’ve made a mistake.

“He is calm and confident that both players will take United to the next level.”

A shocked Vicky Gommersall who was presenting on the other end of Sky’s stream immediately apologized for the use of foul language and tried to make Reddy realize his mistake.

She replied, “I’m just going to apologize to anyone if they were offended by the use of your language there.”

Reddy has become one of Sky’s most popular broadcasters in recent seasons after earning more time at the major broadcaster.

However, some viewers were disappointed by the pundits’ use of profanity and responded furiously on social media after spotting the mistake.

One viewer posted on Twitter: “She’s Sky’s most embarrassing expert and that’s pretty hard to pull off.” A bad YouTuber at best.

Another said: “Sky is so wide awake apologizing, don’t think anyone is offended.”
