Donald Trump will face his third election day as a presidential candidate on Tuesday

After a long career in sports broadcasting where Skip Bayless rarely strayed into politics like many of his contemporaries, he has now spoken publicly about his election for president.

Bayless is undecided about who to vote for on Election Day and outlines on his podcast his opinion on what both candidates have done right and wrong.

As the presidential election takes center stage on Tuesday, Harris and Trump are trying to court last-minute voters to help them reach the Oval Office.

‘For the record, I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican,’ Bayless said saying. ‘I didn’t vote for Donald Trump either of the first two times. “But I have to admit, I’m having a hard time convincing myself that Kamala Harris will be the kind of president this country deserves.”

While Bayless said Harris won the only presidential debate, he has done nothing to further influence her vote in recent weeks.

‘In so many other interviews I’ve seen him do, he loses his train of thought. She just rambles on,” Bayless said. “And I start to wonder: Is she really the kind of dynamic leader and decision-maker this country needs and deserves?”

‘They are voting for Kamala only because there is no way they would vote for Donald Trump. It’s not that they deeply believe in Kamala, it’s just that they have condemned Donald Trump as a far-right psychopath who cannot be allowed to return to power.’

Bayless, 72, didn’t like that people were perceived to vote for Harris more out of hatred for Trump than because of his policies.

“Donald Trump has a tough commander in him,” Bayless continued. “Sometimes, when you want to preserve your freedom from the superpowers that want to talk about you, you need a (George) Patton on your side, at the controls, even if you don’t believe in their politics.”

Despite all of Bayless’s words that seem to give the impression that he is leaning toward Trump, he admits his position, but has not committed to his vote.

‘You’re fucking Donald Trump. You are one of the most recognizable men in the world. You are one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the history of the world. There is no need to lie, exaggerate or even embellish the truth. You should be much better than that. You’ve earned being better than that.
