Medications worth more than $ 1 million washed up on Orange Beach near Mobile, Alabama last week
But on Thursday more cocaine washed up, this time no less than 38 kilograms.
The package was discovered outside of Phoenix 10 Condominium, near the Flora-Bama Lounge, about a 15-minute walk from the first location.
It is believed that the bundles had been in the water for a long time when they were covered with barnacles.
It is possible that they were thrown off board before they arrived at Perdido Beach Boulevard.
Now federal authorities, including the Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection and the US Coast Guard have begun investigating the origin of the drug bundles.
They look at data for the water flows to determine from which direction they come.

Another added that the discovery was unusual.
& # 39; It is surprising for this area. You really don't see that here, & said Chris Yancey from Pensacola. & # 39; It's not that kind of beach … not along the normal lines I think you might think so it's quite shocking. & # 39;
Father Billy Tharpe said: “There are many children here on the beach, brother. You don't want them to end up in that mess … one of them opens and you have children in the water. & # 39;
