Ralph Yarl is pictured laughing a week after being shot in the head by a white homeowner for accidentally ringing his doorbell.
The 16-year-old looked relaxed and smiled with his lawyer Lee Merritt on Wednesday, before Andrew Lester, 84, made his first court appearance.
Merritt posted the photo to his Twitter saying, “Ralph Yarl is home and recovering!
“That the bullet in his head didn’t do more damage is truly a miracle. God be the glory!’
Ralph approached a property in Kansas City, Missouri, thinking he was picking up his two younger brothers, but was shot and taken to the hospital in critical condition.
