The Philadelphia 76ers have to do without superstar Joel Embiid (29) in the fourth playoff game of the first round series against the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA.
The MVP candidate suffered an injury to his right knee during Thursday’s away win (102:97), the 76ers announced after an MRI scan on Friday.
Philadelphia comfortably leads 3-0 in the best-of-seven series. In the third game against the Nets, Embiid, who was limping at the end, contributed 14 points and ten rebounds for the Sixers, and he managed a crucial block eight seconds before the end.
