A Las Vegas single mother and her two young children were killed in a horrific accident after crossing lanes and crashing head-on into a truck.

Malia Hoenshell, 29, of Henderson, was murdered along with her two children, Zaiden, nine, and Phoenix, three, on March 20.

The tragedy occurred around 1:45 a.m. while the family was driving on US-93 in a remote area northeast of Las Vegas.

Hoenshell, who was driving a Hyundai Tuscon, was traveling north just before crossing the southbound lane and crashing into a 2017 Freightliner truck, authorities said.

“Burying a family member is heartbreaking, but burying three of our babies is almost unbearable,” said Kimberly Terry-Campbell, Hoenshell’s aunt.
