Singer who used to live on a cruise ship reveals the VERY morbid reason why crew members throw ‘free ice cream parties’ for passengers

A singer who worked on a cruise ship has uncovered the morbid reason why they organize ‘free ice cream parties’ on board.

TikTok star Dara Starr Tucker opened up about her experience with cruise ship disasters and deaths in a video series on the platform, where he has more than 1.1 million followers.

When one commenter pointed out that there is a correlation between the amount of ice cream given to passengers and the number of bodies in the morgue, he confirmed that “unfortunately, this is often true.”

“If the crew suddenly makes a bunch of ice cream available to passengers (a free ice cream party), it’s often because more people have died on the ship than there is room in the morgue,” he said.

Tucker explained that she was a singer on a cruise ship about 10 years ago and spent six months in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

“Fortunately, we didn’t have to deal with this kind of thing, but we were friends with some of the crew who did,” he said.

The social commentator estimated that there were between 25,000 and 30,000 passengers on each cruise and between four and ten people died on each voyage.

“There are a lot of older people on ships, and people often die on cruise ships,” he said. ‘So at the morgue, I think they said they were holding about seven people.

‘Yeah If more than seven people died on that particular ship, they would have to start moving the bodies to the freezer, meaning they needed to make room in the freezer.

Tucker explained that they would have to remove a lot of ice cream and frozen products to make room for the additional bodies.

‘So when that happened, ice cream party, wow!’ she concluded.

The revealing video has been viewed 2.2 million times and received more than 3,000 comments since it was posted on February 20.

‘Here’s a cruise ship doctor. “I can confirm the correlation between the morgue and ice cream,” one person wrote.

“I’m supposed to go on a cruise in May,” someone else responded. ‘Now I’m going to be that guy. “You know, if they serve us a lot of ice cream, then a lot of people die.”

‘Thanks for the info. There was an ice cream party on my cruise and now I know why,” added another.

Tucker’s revealing video has been viewed 2.2 million times and received more than 3,000 comments. It is true that many people were horrified by the information.

Others were horrified by the revelation, with some admitting they had no idea cruise ships had morgues on board.

“It never crossed my mind that there would be a morgue on a cruise ship… I need to think for a moment and come back,” one viewer commented.

“I swear every fact I learn about a cruise makes me want to go on one less,” noted another.

‘Wait, so if someone dies on a ship they don’t come back out of respect for their loved ones? Are we all still partying while Nana is dead in the freezer? someone else asked.

Dara’s claims about the reason for onboard ice cream parties come just weeks after another cruise ship worker shared the truth about how many people really die on cruise ships, claiming it happens “more often than you think.” .

Zoie Madigan, 28, from North Carolina, has nearly 13,000 followers on TikTok, where she documents her life on the open seas as an employee of Norwegian Cruise Line.

In a January video, he talked about Serenade of the Seas, a nine-month cruise that set sail late last year, telling his followers that several people were likely to die during the entire voyage.

“Something I think no one talks about enough on this nine-month world cruise is how often people simply pass away from natural causes while on vacation,” he began his video.

“It happens more often than you think,” he said of people dying on the ship, but added that it doesn’t happen weekly.
