Olympic legend Simone Biles took to social media to react to her NFL husband Jonathan Owens’ big free agency move to the Chicago Bears on Tuesday.
Biles, 26, is currently preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics, but there was big news for her other half this week when he agreed a two-year contract with the Bears.
The move will see him move down Lake Michigan from Green Bay, Wisconsin to Chicago, Illinois — and Biles seemed thrilled about it.
She took to X, formerly Twitter, in a series of posts, beginning by thanking Packers fans — after his one season with the team saw them make the playoffs.
“Just want to say thank you to the packing house for embracing my husband and I,” she began. ‘Green Bay will always have a special place in our hearts!’

She continued in another tweet, adding: ‘CHICAGO HERE HE COMES,’ before appearing to reveal she has no plans to make the permanent move with her husband.
‘I’m so excited not to have a connecting flight to go see my husband hahahaha,’ she wrote in a follow-up message.
The couple are currently building their dream home in Texas, and it looks like Biles – with all eyes on this summer’s Olympics – is staying put for now.
In a fourth post, she wrote ‘also I just love the city of Chicago’ before adding ‘pizza & hotdogs’. F YEAH’ in another.
Biles ended her posts with a final message, noting: ‘So incredibly proud of my husband. The knot never stops! This is just the beginning.’

Safety Owens also took to his own social media to react to the big two-year move, reportedly worth $4.5 million, writing: ‘Appreciate it @Packers for the opportunity’ with a praying hands emoji .
“And Packer nation for welcoming me and my wife with open arms, will never forget my time at GB.”
Owens and Biles met on celebrity dating app Raya in 2020, when she was already a four-time Olympic gold medalist and considered one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
Biles and Owens became engaged in 2022 and were married last April.
Owens came under fire late last year for admitting he didn’t know who Biles was before the pair met.
The backlash for Owens was so heavy that Biles had to intervene by writing ‘STOP BRINGING ME UP’ on her Instagram story followed by 14 smiley face emojis and ending with ‘working on it for the new year’.

The comments did not mention Owens directly, but were seen as Biles’ official response to the controversy.
Owens eventually caught on to how dominant his now-wife was on the vault and balance beam.
A source told DailyMail.com last June that Biles’ return to gymnastics was much celebrated thanks to Owens convincing her to do it.
It’s unclear if Biles knew who Owens was when they also played at Raya.
Owens and Biles currently live in a $2 million home in the Houston area, but construction is underway on a mansion the couple is building.
Biles has been giving glimpses into the unfinished home on Instagram, including a massive walk-in closet.
Construction on the home has been ongoing for about a year with an unconfirmed expected completion date.
When the project broke, Biles posted a photo of Owens and herself with the caption ‘a home is made with love and dreams…cheers to breaking ground’ on Instagram.
The waterfront home has also shared photos of the home’s hallways and her ideas for ‘frames with sliding doors’ to separate different rooms.
