Gold medalist Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan Owens gave fans another sneak peek at their new waterfront mansion in Texas amid its ongoing construction.
The couple currently lives in a $2 million home in Houston, but broke ground on their dream property in August.
Biles, a Houston native, and Owens, who plays safety for the Green Bay Packers, have been providing intermittent updates while also sharing their frustration with the construction process.
Biles’ latest posts on Instagram were encouraging. Owens is seen standing in the grand entrance with his arms outstretched to give a sense of the enormity of the project. There are also other shots showing Owens on the roof overlooking the boardwalk and another area of the residence.
Owens shared a glimpse of her huge new walk-in closet in another post and wrote: ‘Yo. AM. OBSESSED.’

Owens and Biles got engaged two years ago and married in April 2023.

“I will never run out of space for clothes,” the 4-foot-8 gymnastics legend added.
Not everything about the project has been so fun.
Without going into details, Biles shared her frustration in a November post.
“Yesterday I was here from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.,” he wrote along with some images showing the ceilings and walls. “I thought it was going to be a 30-minute thing because I had no idea what I was getting into.”
In another post that day, she pictured herself alongside the caption: “I’m so confused.”
In March, Simone announced that construction had begun on the site, writing alongside a photo of her and Owens: “a home is made with love and dreams…cheers to starting construction.”
A month later, the lovebirds tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Texas in front of friends and family.
The exterior of the house is shown in another recent post. It is not clear how much it will cost.

They got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2022, when he was still a member of the Houston Texans. They got married in April.
According to an interview Simone gave to the Wall Street Journal, the two had connected a little before the pandemic through social media.
“He was saying I slid into his direct messages,” she told the newspaper. “I saw him and thought, ‘Oh, he’s really cute,’ so I said hello.” And then I saw he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit and then we went out a week or two later.”
Simone has been living in a sleek new build in Spring, Texas, which fans have glimpsed through the athlete’s Instagram posts over the years.
