There was no shortage of female icons on display at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday night, as Olympic heroes Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas showed up to watch Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever.

Fresh off their gold medal success at the Paris 2024 Games, sprinter Thomas and gymnast Biles were in the house for the WNBA game, Biles’ first.

And after watching Clark break even more records and the Fever pull off a victory over the Connecticut Sun, the famous duo headed to the locker room to meet the players.

In a video posted to social media by the Fever, many of the players appeared starstruck upon meeting Biles and Thomas, just weeks after their gold medal performance in Paris.

In a photo sure to be viewed millions of times, Biles, Clark and Thomas posed together, showcasing the best of women’s sport in one image.

The rest of the team then got involved, each taking turns taking photos with the Olympic duo, who won six gold medals and one silver between them in Paris.

Each earned three gold medals, with Biles earning victories in the women’s artistic individual all-around, the women’s artistic team all-around and the women’s artistic vault, while also earning a silver in the floor event.

Meanwhile, Thomas won gold in the women’s 200m, 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay to become one of Team USA’s biggest success stories.

The crowd went wild for Biles when her attendance was announced and her face appeared on the screen.

It’s also been a gold medal rookie year for Clark, who is breaking new records seemingly every week after being selected No. 1 overall in the draft by the Fever.

Indiana is likely to make the WNBA playoffs in Clark’s rookie year, and currently sits seventh in the standings.

On social media Wednesday, Thomas posted several images from his trip to Indiana, first sharing a selfie along with the caption: “Hey Indy.”

Meanwhile, Biles filmed her arrival at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and then a photo of her drink in the VIP box where the athletes were sitting.
