Simon Cowell let his son Eric and Amanda Holden’s daughter Hollie crash the Britain’s Got Talent auditions on Sunday.
Japanese act Haribow took the stage in the final episode, sending the audience into a frenzy as they begged the judges to give them a golden buzzer, but everyone had already been used.
As the crowd’s chants grew louder, Simon said he had “never heard a reaction like that before” before gesturing to his 10-year-old son Eric to press the button.
“Okay… okay… Do it,” Simon said, as Eric and 12-year-old Hollie stood up and ran to the judges’ bench, hitting the golden buzzer and sending Harbow to the semi-finals in alive.
Simon said: ‘That was my son, Amanda’s daughter, egged on by the public. We will see you in the final, congratulations.”

Haribow, a group of Japanese performers aged 22 to 24, performed street dances while jumping rope.
The group’s incredible spins and tricks won over the audience, and the cheers became so loud that you could barely hear the judges giving their comments.
Alesha turned to her fellow judges and said, “Carry on” over the noise, while Bruno tried to give Haribow feedback on his act.
But the former dancer struggled to speak amid the chants of ‘Push the Gold’, turning to the audience and telling them: ‘Listen to me, we can’t! We don’t have any left.
“That’s the best you’re going to get,” Simon added. “Sometimes when you watch an audition, I’m sitting here thinking, ‘I really don’t know what to say.’
“When it’s this bright, it’s just…words aren’t really necessary.”
The camera panned to Eric, who was flying out of his seat excitedly. “I’m sorry, my son is literally going crazy right now,” Simon said.
It was at this point that Simon asked the audience if anyone thought Haribow deserved the golden buzzer, prompting more roars, before leaving Eric and Hollie to do the honours.

—Do child judges also receive golden stamps now? Honestly, what’s the point of that format? In fact, the whole format of the show is so plastic and bland and now in the bin it’s unreal.’
