Simon Cowell has revealed that his nine-year-old son Eric could appear as a guest judge on America’s Got Talent as he makes plans to restructure the judging panel.
The doting father, 64, has been inspired by audiences asking Eric and the children of fellow judges Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel to give their opinions on the talent.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com at a press conference about whether she would welcome Eric to the panel, she said: “Now you mention it.” Yes. I think he would.
‘In fact, this will happen in the UK. There was an event in which the public became very enthusiastic. They were encouraging Eric and Amanda Holden’s (Britain’s Got Talent judge) daughter to press the golden buzzer.
Simon Cowell has considered revolutionizing America’s Got Talent by introducing children from the jury to the panel to share their opinion on the acts.
The music mogul is tempted to have his nine-year-old son Eric appear as a guest judge.

He continued: ‘And the next thing I see is the two of them come flying. They pressure it, I say… and I looked at the producers.
‘They said, “It’s activated,” so he already did the first one. And she absolutely loved it.’
Simon then added: “So to your point, one hundred percent, I think it would be great to see the kids judging them, to see it from their perspective because everyone has opinions.”
Simon shares Eric with his fiancée Lauren Silverman, 46, while Heidi has children Henry, 18, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13, with her ex-husband Seal. The singer also legally adopted her eldest daughter Leni, 19, whose biological father is Italian businessman Flaviore Briatore.
Sofía is the mother of her son Manolo González Vergara, 32, while Howie is the father of her daughters Jackie, 39, and Riley, 31, and her son Alex, 33.
When asked what Eric would be like as a judge, Simon replied: “I think you can see if he’s there or in the audience.” Now we have a lot of little kids watching the show, so I’m always looking at the audience to see what they like and don’t like.
He continued: ‘Because children either like something or they don’t like something. There is no kind of middle ground.

‘So I guess I’ve learned a lot from him and his friends. I see what makes them laugh.’
Simon surprised his fans in the summer of 2013 when it was revealed that he was expecting a child with American socialite Lauren, who was then married to real estate mogul Andrew Silverman.
She has welcomed Eric to her competition shows, making for many sweet moments over the years.
In January, BGT judge Amanda described Eric as a “a chip off the old block” as he claimed he lives up to his father’s reputation as television’s Mr Nasty.
Recalling the moment Eric joined the BGT judging panel, an audience member who spoke to the Mirror claimed that Eric He told a chorus: “I didn’t really like the first part, but I did like the second part.”
Simon and Eric thrilled Britain’s Got Talent viewers when they shared a sweet moment in 2020.
Amanda is said to have turned to the crowd and said: ‘It’s a piece of the old block!’
The radio host then encouraged her daughter Hollie, 12, to also take a seat on the judging panel.
Hollie reportedly told the choir, a group of teachers and children from disadvantaged areas, called Teacher’s Rock: “I thought it was inspiring and a fantastic performance.”
Meanwhile, BGT judge Alesha Dixon’s nine-year-old daughter Azura said: “There was a lot of good energy.”
Season 19 of America’s Got Talent began production in March and is scheduled to premiere on NBC on May 28.
