A host of Premier League stars soaked up the atmosphere at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone today.
The event is known for attracting an array of glittering names and this year has seen an influx of footballers enjoying their summer break.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was pictured swapping shirts with reigning Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen and also posed with the Red Bull star’s car.

Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool team-mate Virgil van Dijk was also present at Silverstone
air sportsGrid Walk reporter Martin Brundle arranged a quick interview with Alexander-Arnold, who expressed his passion for F1.
‘It’s my first time [on the grid],’ said the England right-back. “Hopefully the first of many, I absolutely love F1 and I’m so excited to be here. It doesn’t really allow me with my schedule, but I’m happy to be here today.
“I love everything about F1. The excitement, the fact that it’s a team sport and an individual sport at the same time, I find exciting. It’s a great sport, I grew up there with my father and my family.

Chelsea and England defender Reece James was all smiles as he checked into the paddock
‘These machines are something very special. There is a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes that I was able to see today. It’s not easy, it doesn’t happen overnight.’
Brundle even managed to ask Alexander-Arnold if he was happy with Mo Salah’s new contract after the Egyptian agreed a new three-year deal with Liverpool.
“Of course,” said Alexander-Arnold. “Hopefully a few more years with him to win more trophies.”

Dutch defenders Virgil van Dijk and Nathan Ake were on opposite sides of the title race with Liverpool and Manchester City last season, but they were together at Silverstone, smiling in the Red Bull garage.
Chelsea and England star Reece James was also tricked, as was Brentford striker Ivan Toney.
There was even room for a few retired players as Micah Richards was in typically good spirits alongside his former Manchester City team-mate Joleon Lescott.
