Sigourney Weaver opened up about working with notoriously difficult director James Cameron during the latest episode of Graham Norton.
The actress, 75, who worked with the Canadian filmmaker on both Avatar and Aliens, admitted that the best way to work with him is to do everything he tells you.
She explained: ‘We know each other and we like each other. The best thing you can do if you’re in one of Jim’s movies is to do whatever he asks of you.
‘I never ask questions, I just say, “Well, that sounds fabulous.” And so I said yes to freediving for five minutes!’
Meanwhile, the star also admitted she hates watching horror films as she was joined on the sofa by Nicholas Hoult, who stars in the remake of gothic horror classic Nosferatu.
Speaking about his role, the About A Boy star explained: “I didn’t originally want to do a horror film because it’s very stressful and I was nervous.

“Everything seemed so real that it scared me so much. When I was at the screening in Berlin, I jumped really hard in one scene.”
Sigourney then chimed in and admitted that she wouldn’t be going to the movies to see her latest project.
The star confessed: ‘I hate watching horror movies. I don’t mind acting in them, but I don’t want to see them.
Sigourney also spoke about her West End debut in Shakespeare’s The Tempest, gushing: “I’m having the time of my life.”
“I love working with Jamie Lloyd, who has a fantastic, organic and supportive process, we have a wonderful company and exquisite theatre.”
Speaking about playing Prospero, which is traditionally a male role, she said: “It’s about a woman being heard and seeking reparation, justice and retribution.”
“I think it is going to be a spectacular production judging by the technology, which is very ambitious. It is also a fun and romantic work.
“There’s so much going on and I think we do justice to all of them.”

While Nicholas Hoult was talking about his latest horror film, Nosferatu, Sigourney confessed: “I hate watching horror movies. I don’t mind acting in them, but I don’t want to see them.’
Sigourney starred in James’ 2009 film Avatar.
Asked what it’s like to be on stage for the first time in 12 years, he added: “Thank God it’s like riding a bike and I’m really enjoying Shakespeare.”
“For me it is very natural, it is a pleasant discovery and everything has been a wonderful surprise.”
Sigourney will make her West End debut in the new production, while Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell star in Much Ado About Nothing.
The two plays will form part of a Shakespeare season by The Jamie Lloyd Company at the Theater Royal Drury Lane.
They will be the Bard’s first plays to be performed at the theater since Peter Brook’s production of The Tempest, starring John Gielgud in 1957.
The production will premiere on December 19, with previews starting December 7 and running until February 1, 2025.
