Paris Saint-Germain’s priority is to extend Kylian Mbappé’s contract rather than pursue a move ahead of Lionel Messi.

Mbappé sees his current PSG contract expire in the summer of 2022.
Reports in Brazil this week indicated that PSG had offered Messi a two-year deal with an option for a third, but it seems there has been no formal approach.
Mbappé has scored 37 goals in 43 games in all competitions this season and PSG, including manager Mauricio Pochettino, wants to ensure the 22-year-old stays with the club for the long haul.

Messi was strongly linked to PSG when it emerged that he could leave Barcelona last year.
