Sienna Miller has revealed why she doesn’t want to be “the biggest movie star in the world”.

The 42-year-old American-British actress has worked in Hollywood for more than two decades and is best known for her breakout roles in Layer Cake, Alfie and Factory Girl.

However, Sienna, who recently welcomed her second child, admitted she has no desire to become the most famous actress in history and gave a candid insight into her career ambitions.

Despite having a staggering estimated net worth of $18 million, Sienna also said that she has no plans to retire early and wants to work for the rest of her life.

“I don’t have to be the biggest movie star in the world. I love being able to keep working,” she told this week’s issue of Star Magazine.

“I know I will work for the rest of my life. I have the opportunity to do a play and I have a beautiful baby. Yes, I am very happy.”

She said she had never felt more “fulfilled” and that her career ambitions include working with big-name directors including Poor Things’ Porgos Lanthimos and Martin Scorsese.

Sienna is currently promoting her new film: Kevin Costner’s epic western, Horizon: An American Saga.

Elsewhere in the interview, Sienna also reflected on becoming a mother for the second time, 12 years after welcoming her first child.

She gave birth to daughter Marlowe with ex Tom Sturridge in July 2012, and welcomed another daughter with boyfriend Oli Green about eight months ago.

She revealed that motherhood feels “completely different” the second time around and said she is grateful to have been able to bring her baby with her to work.

“I’m a very different person. People often have a lot to say about having children in your 40s as a woman, but I can’t defend it enough. I feel very lucky,” she said.

Model Sienna has just returned to work after finishing her maternity leave and said she finds her job and motherhood “equally fulfilling.”

Sienna recently said that the 11-year age gap between her two daughters is “quite helpful because one is small and portable, and the other is becoming more and more independent.”

Sienna, who keeps her family life relatively private, was first spotted with her newborn daughter, whose name she has not revealed, in January.

However, Sienna said she is not looking to become the most famous actress in Hollywood and said she has no plans to retire early and wants to work for the rest of her life.

Sienna and her partner Oli, 27, were first linked in February 2022 and she recently gushed about their relationship as she mused about dating a younger man.

Talking with Harper’s BazaarSienna said: “I didn’t expect to take it seriously and then very quickly I fell in love. I didn’t think, ‘I’m going to get a younger boyfriend’. It was more like, ‘Fuck! Why are you young? That’s so annoying’.”

“There is a difference in the way that generation of men respects women. It’s something specific to him, he’s very wise and balanced, but I think it’s also something of that generation.

“They have grown up in a context of equal opportunities. I see it in their female friends as well as in the men.”
