Cara Delevingne, 31, wowed as she made her West End debut in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theater on Monday night

Cara Delevingne added another string to her bow when she made her stage debut as Sally Bowles in London’s famous West End Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in the Playhouse Theatre.

Taking to the stage for her first show on Monday night, the actress and model looked right at home as she threw herself into the role.

Playing Sally Bowles – made famous by Liza Minnelli in the 1972 film version – Cara follows in the footsteps of Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley, who previously played the role.

The star, 31, appears alongside Olivier Award-winning Luke Treadaway – who stars as The Emcee in the iconic play.

Dressed in a white silk petticoat, the star looked a world away from her usual striking catwalk ensembles.

Eddie Redmayne, who starred in the classic musical in 2021, previously gushed over the stunning production when he appeared as The Emcee in the Cabaret.

He shared: ‘Getting to perform John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joe Masteroff’s extraordinary piece with a staggering troupe at the Kit Kat Club in the heart of London was the stuff dreams are made of.’

He added: ‘Playing this role in Cabaret was one of the few bucket list things in my life. And I don’t have many.

‘The process of putting this piece together has been six years in the making and it’s so exciting when something you’ve dreamed of exceeds your expectations.’
