Two teenagers allegedly led police on a high-speed, 150-mile, three-hour car chase after a botched armed robbery at a convenience store.

The two teenagers, aged 14 and 17, are accused of threatening a store employee with a gun at Slacks Creek in Brisbane at 5pm on Thursday.

They allegedly fled empty-handed after the store employee pressed an alarm button and fled in a red Hyundai Kona that was reported stolen the day before.
