This is the ‘sickening’ moment a masked gang launched a frenzied attack on a transgender girl at a roller skating party in revenge for lying about her gender identity before performing a sex act with a boy.

The 18-year-old aspiring model, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was lured to a roller disco where the gang shouted “tranny” as they punched, kicked and stomped on her after she was stabbed nine times by leader Summer Betts. Ramsey.

Disturbing CCTV footage released today by US police shows the gang wearing hoods, masks and gloves, dancing with excitement in a car park as the smiling, unsuspecting victim approaches.

In the video, which the victim gave permission to be shared, just seconds after arriving, the teen is punched in the face and head with such force that she is thrown to the ground, where the crowd then unleashes blow after blow releases her with ‘great excitement’.

The victim was kicked at least seven times by Betts-Ramsey before the 19-year-old pulled out a knife at Harrow Leisure Centre, north-west London, on February 10 last year.

As the girl lay helpless, Betts-Ramsey lunged at her fourteen times, repeatedly stabbing her in the nose, thigh, hand and buttocks.

In an orgy of violence, filmed and plotted on Snapchat, all five teens rushed in after she was knocked to the ground, kicking, stabbing and stomping her as she lay curled up in a ball.

The mob, exposed for the first time at today’s sentencing hearing, also beat her senseless with a pair of roller skates and boots before ripping off her handbag and fleeing, leaving the victim in a pool of blood.

The victim only survived the attack after a member of the public intervened to stop Betts-Ramsey from stamping on her head and called an ambulance.

“I have watched the CCTV footage of the attack more than once, it is sickening to watch,” Judge Philip Katz QC said as the teenage mob was locked up today.

The Met also released bodycam footage of Betts-Ramsey who was arrested at her home the day after the brutal attack.

Betts-Ramsey appeared at the Old Bailey today and was sentenced alongside 18-year-olds Bradley Harris, Camron Osei and Shiloh Hindedas, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named, who finally admitted to deliberately killing had caused bodily harm. .

Betts-Ramsey will serve at least four and a half years in a young offenders’ institution, with an extended sentence of four years after she was deemed a ‘dangerous offender’.

The judge added: ‘Her gloating in the aftermath of the attack was blatantly hateful and inhumane.’

A woman believed to be a relative of Betts-Ramsey shouted from the public gallery ‘kill people and get less’.

Meanwhile, Harris, Hindes and Osei are all held in a juvenile facility for three years. The 17-year-old boy was given an 18-month youth probation order and will be electronically tagged for three months.

A sixth girl who admitted to the robbery by taking the victim’s bag will be sentenced later today.

Betts-Ramsey, who lived in a children’s home, also admitted possessing an offensive weapon.

The trial heard how Harris planned the attack when the victim denied she was transgender before kissing him and performing an oral sex act a few days earlier.

Unbeknownst to the victim, Harris recorded the Jan. 29 sexual encounter during a FaceTime video call.

A friend then called Harris to tell him the victim was transgender, which she only admitted after Harris held her under the knife and said, “I’ll stab you if you lie.”

The victim later apologized, but Harris was already meticulously planning a vicious revenge attack.

Hours before the attack, Betts-Ramsey was heard on the phone saying: “I’ve got to go to Harrow to beat up a tranny brother.”

The knife-obsessed 19-year-old decided to take one of the knives she had delivered to the children’s home where she lived.

Judge Katz said: ‘The victim was brutally assaulted by five young persons each with the intention of causing her serious harm. She was kicked and knocked to the ground. They then continued to beat her and she was stabbed repeatedly.

‘At the time of the attack she posed no threat to anyone, she did nothing to provoke or in any way justify the attack – which (the victim) did not know was a planned and premeditated attack.

‘Kicking and stomping someone while they are defenseless on the ground is horrible. In these courts we hear all the time about these types of attacks that have resulted in death.”

The judge was asked to take peer pressure into account but said: ‘I’m struggling to see anything’ as he believed the attack was carried out ‘with general excitement’.

Judge Katz said: ‘I have watched the CCTV footage of the attack more than once, it is sickening to watch.

“Her gloating in the aftermath of the attack was blatantly hateful and inhumane.

‘People who act in groups often perform actions that they would not do alone.’

Betts-Ramsey was obsessed with knives and had them delivered to the children’s home where she lived.

“Betts-Ramsey was recruited to lead the charge. “Her lifestyle at the time and her previous convictions for violence explain why,” the judge added.

The judge said the group was motivated “by a twisted version of revenge” and described Snapchat’s plans for the attack as “toxic.”

Prosecutor Deena Heer QC previously said: “This was a planned attack, motivated at least in part by her transgender identity.

‘During the assault she was punched, kicked, stomped and stabbed and suffered nine stab wounds.’

On February 10, the victim was lured to a roller skating party with the group, the court heard.

The group, dressed in dark clothing with masks and hoods, was waiting for her at a bus stop.

But when they reached a nearby parking lot, the girl was “immediately attacked.” Betts-Ramsey attacked the woman on the ground at least fourteen times with a knife.

Other members of the trans-hating crowd attacked her for about 45 seconds before some fled.

Afterward, Betts-Ramsey, now 20, bragged about the stabbing, posting a story on Snapchat with footage of the attack and laughing emojis, and telling friends, “I’m going to jail… man, I stabbed her 12 times.” ‘

Others taunted the victim by sending messages saying: ‘You look cute.’

In a moving victim impact statement, the transgender girl said she has suffered panic attacks, struggles to sleep and fears she may not be able to work as a model because of her injuries.

“I have become depressed and am always afraid to leave the house,” she said.

‘I am constantly afraid of being attacked again. Sometimes I feel like this is taking over my life.

“The incident has resulted in thick scars on my body, which makes me sad every time I see them. I feel like I’m the one serving a life sentence because of them.

“I have experienced hostility towards me as a transgender person in the past, but I never thought someone would hate me so much and want to attack me the way they did.”

Betts-Ramsey was subject to a community order at the time of the stabbing after being convicted of theft and battery.

The court was told the defendants have all apologized since the attack.
