Pro-Palestinian protesters at George Washington University called for the beheading of school administrators ahead of hostile clashes with police to end their encampment in Gaza.

In images taken on campus on Tuesday, activists condemned GWU President Ellen Granberg and Chancellor Christopher Bracey to the ‘guillotine’.

‘Bracey, Bracey, we see you. You also attack the students. “To the damn gallows with you,” protesters were heard chanting as they held a mock court.

Hours later, around 3:30 a.m., police arrived at the camp after they refused to end the illegal demonstration, with a total of 35 people arrested on campus, Fox News reports.

GWU President Ellen Granberg (left) and Chancellor Christopher Bracey (right) faced calls to be taken to the “guillotine” as they were condemned by protesters for having “a personal interest in the genocide of the people Palestinian”.

In images shared on social media, the mock court saw young protesters seated as representatives of Granberg, Bracey, the university’s board of trustees, GW police and others whom they “accused of genocide.”

A leader with a microphone led chants of “guillotine” and said the board was accused of “having a vested interest in the genocide of the Palestinian people.”

‘People find you: Guilty!’ The chants continued. “I hope all that money helps you when you’re rotting in jail.”

When he targeted Granberg, the leading activist condemned her for using “all tuition money to finance genocide.”

Calls for the guillotine came two weeks after the start of the GWU camp in Gaza, and university administrators were increasingly frustrated with protesters after they refused to end it.

In recent days, the antics of some protesters have sparked outrage, including defacing a statue of George Washington by covering it with graffiti, flags and keffiyehs reading “Free Palestine.”

On Friday, images of students and teachers on campus raised eyebrows as large numbers of people were seen participating in an Islamic call to prayer on campus.

Protesters also projected an image of President Biden’s face and an American flag on the side of a building, with the legend: ‘Genocide Joe.’

On Tuesday, administrators warned they would end the protests by force, with Granberg declaring that “at no time was the camp legal.”

“From the moment GW students declared their intention to set up and camp in University Yard, they directly violated multiple university policies and invaded a space explicitly reserved for GW Law final exams,” the statement read.

“While the university is committed to protecting students’ rights to free expression, the camp had become an illegal activity, with participants in direct violation of multiple university policies and city regulations.”

On Tuesday afternoon, some protesters reportedly marched toward Granberg’s home as the deadline to clear the campus approached.

Scenes turned ugly at the camp overnight Wednesday as police cracked down on remaining protesters, using pepper spray to disperse the crowd.

Dozens of people were arrested when protesters clashed with police; However, no arrests were made at Granberg’s home even though the crowd remained there for hours.

The overnight arrests were not the first time GWU has been rocked by hostile clashes, with protesters seen destroying barriers and clashing with police on April 29.

George Washington University is one of many US universities that have been rocked by anti-Israel protests in recent weeks.

At New York’s Columbia University, Jewish students bravely shared their hostile encounters with protesters with DailyMail.com.

Rory Wilson, a 22-year-old history student, shared his story of confronting an anti-Israel mob, which left him “trapped against the door” and fearing for his safety.

He said: ‘After a friend and I made our way into the heart of the crowd milling around Hamilton Hall, I looked out at the masked, screaming masses illuminated by the constant flashing of cameras.

‘My adrenaline shot up. We began to remove a table leaning against the doors and the crowd realized that we were not with them.

‘They started accusing us of helping the genocide and calling us idiots for taking risks for nothing.

We were trapped against the door. I played contact sports in the past, so a group of screaming Barnard girls half my size didn’t faze me, but then a man dressed all in black jumped up next to us.

“He looked at me through the crack of his mask and I recognized that he had harassed me several days earlier, calling me a ‘Zionist endogater.'” He had no idea if he was a student or what he was willing to do.

“He started grabbing me, pulling on my leg, trying to get me away from the doors. After a brief struggle, he jumped off and the screaming crowd returned. In the end a friend got me out of there safely.

‘Now, looking back, I am grateful to God for the opportunity to have faced them. However, I am saddened that the university allowed the situation to devolve into such chaos and intimidation.”
