‘I love this!!’ he wrote in a post on Markdown Addicts Australia, while others have been talking about online shopping.
“I’ve been waiting for toast to be available again,” said one customer.
“Our local store literally sold out in minutes,” a second responded, while a third said they saw a similar device at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney for more than $50.
‘I received one for Christmas from my husband. I LOVE IT. The sandwiches are crispy and taste great. Mine came from Big W,” said another mother.
Some complained that the toast made for soggy sandwiches, but others suggested using a little butter to brown the bread.
Some thought the find was “useless” and were loyal to the old frying pan or sandwich press method.
