“We have Woolworths cold cuts for my kid’s birthday party as a healthy alternative. They were wonderful, ‘a mother raved.
“I’ve had them both, and they were great and went fast,” said another mom.
Both major Australian retailers sell the wraps, offering meat lovers and vegetarian alternatives.
But shoppers seemed to agree that the meat lover version offered better value for money.
“We also got the vegetarian wraps, but they were just lettuce and mayonnaise,” one woman said.
‘We ordered the Woolworths not long ago and I was shocked at how heavy the tray was. Great value for money, ”said one mother.
The wraps must be ordered and paid for two days before pick-up, but this can be done in-store or online.
‘I ordered them online and had them delivered the day of the party I had. Was really handy. But otherwise, you order them from your local deli meats department and arrange for them to be picked up, ”one mother explained.
One bride even used the dishes for her wedding break – and loved them.
And others said they got the $ 35 plates for meeting catering.

The bowls are suitable for a maximum of 10 people.
And some argue that the supermarket versions are better than the sandwich store versions – and cheaper, too.
The discussion started when a mother posted pictures of Coles and Woolworths options, trying to figure out which was better.
But according to the comments, both retailers deliver a very similar product.
Early this year, wraps went ‘viral’ after a hack to make them easier to wrap and toast went viral on TikTok.
An Australian woman has revealed her hack for toasting your sandwich wraps – and one cut changes everything.
The woman posted a video on her ‘Crystals Cooking Fun’ TikTok account showing that she makes a small cut on the shawl from the center to the outer edge.
She then puts out the filling for the wrap, starting with putting some chicken, on the quarter before the cut.
Then she continues clockwise and puts lettuce, tomato and cheese in each other’s quarters.
Then she covers the chicken with sauce and starts folding the wrap.
She lifts off the cutting edge and pulls the lettuce onto the tomato.
Wrapping clockwise from the cut makes the neatest and best packaging
HOW DO YOU MAKE THE BEST TOASTED WRAP?
1- Cut from the center to the edge of the cover
2- Place the heavy / hot filling, in this case chicken, in the quarter for cutting
3- Put the lettuce in the next section
4- Place the tomato in the next section
5- Add cheese to the last quarter
6- Add spices and sauce to taste
7- Start by folding the lettuce over the tomato
8- Continue folding clockwise
9- Toast golden brown
Crystal continues to fold the salad over the cheese and eventually over the chicken.
She was left with a triangular package that can be easily toasted.
The woman’s nifty hack was ‘liked’ more than 31,000 times in the first 15 hours.
“I’ll have a wrap for lunch tomorrow and I’ll definitely do this,” said one woman.
“What kind of witchcraft is this?” asked another.
“We are living in the year 2020 and she is in the year 3000,” said one man.
Others said the hack was the best they’d ever seen.
