Budget-savvy Australians are excited about a little-known wholesale grocery store in Sydneyof the west thanks to its “incredibly low prices.
Sydney food vlogger Rose Khater took her TikTok followers to what she calls “Sydney’s cheapest wholesale grocery store” – Westfresh Blacktown.
Happy to share the once well-kept secret, Rose gushed about the delicious samples upon arrival before entering the huge store that has “everything.”
Meats, fruit, vegetables, seafood, ready-to-eat meals, party food, desserts, household items and much more are sold at lower prices than those offered at Woolworths and Coles.
Walking through the aisles, Rose showed off a 5kg bag of fresh chicken on sale for $8.99 per kilogram.

Westfresh is located in Blacktown, Western Sydney.
There is also bulk strip steak and scotch fillet that can be cut to order.
“The Westfresh store is on the same site as their huge factory, so you get great deals and products,” explained a former member of staff.
Rose spent hours picking up bulk items at special prices from the wide range.
Followers agreed Westfresh was “an amazing experience”, and one Sydney resident said she had been shopping at the store since it opened in January.
Westfresh in Blacktown has meats, fruits, vegetables, seafood, ready-to-eat meals, party food, desserts, homewares and more.
‘Now, why would you remove control of Westfresh?’ Another joked.
A Sydney mother who showed off a substantial amount of meat, eggs and vegetables, said she did grocery shopping all week for her family of three at Westfresh and only spent $115.
Other shoppers said Westfresh bulk meats are perfect for those with large freezers and looking to dramatically reduce the cost of feeding their families.
The Blacktown retailer isn’t just popular with locals, with some saying they come from other parts of Sydney for good-value wholesale purchases.
There is also bulk rump steak and scotch fillet that can be cut to order.
While one reviewer said the meat was “not always the best quality,” he assured others that it was “good enough” for the price.
Westfresh’s popular fried chicken restaurant has a schnitzel meal, a hot and spicy burger, boneless fried chicken, and thick Oreo milkshakes topped with whipped cream, all available to order on Doordash.
There is also a “lovely” cafe serving fresh coffee and treats for those who want to grab a bite to eat after shopping.
Westfresh is located at 25 Bessemer St, Blacktown.
It opens from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and closes at 4:00 pm on Saturdays, but is closed on Sundays.
A smart shopper avoids visiting the place on Saturdays, claiming that the best deals are obtained during the weekdays.
With food becoming less affordable, shoppers are increasingly venturing beyond big box supermarkets and are more willing to try alternative retailers in a bid to save money.
Aldi outlets in Australia are also seeing a surge in popularity, as their reputation for being Australia’s cheapest supermarket is attracting cash-strapped Australians.
