A shopper has been left in hysterics after coming across a bizarre advert for a new foldable exercise bike from Aldi.

Bec Brewin, from Melbourne, was eager to pick up the $169 “Special Buy” and researched details on the Aldi Australia website.

However, she didn’t expect to stumble upon a video promoting the bike that shows it casually orbiting among planets and stars with commentary streaming over it.

“Has anyone actually been to the Aldi website? The reason I’m asking is because I was just looking for this bike,’ Bec said in a TikTok video.

“I’m interested but need to know the dimensions…and this is what I found.”

She then showed the ad – sending it viral almost immediately.

The humorous video was described by other customers as “awesome” and a clever ad likely created by someone “from Gen Z”.

It started with a photo of what appears to be the Milky Way Galaxy before the narrator says, “Outer Space.” A special place where emptiness silences everything, causing us to wonder, “Is the sun roaring as it burns? Do the planets sing when they spin?

“And do they sing… Aldi’s foldable exercise bike for just $169?” the voice continues then the product appears on the screen.

The “Good Different” marketing tactic has been well received by thousands of other shoppers who have had fun.

Aldi, how are you? was asked in the comments to Bec’s video.

‘Aldi. It’s a state of mind,” replied another, a third added: “Aldi’s advertising department is run by Gen Z.”

One admitted: “That would make me buy anything to be honest.”

“I suddenly need a foldable exercise bike from Aldi for just $169,” one wrote.

The foldable exercise bike is ideal for those who live in a small house and don’t like going to the gym.

Clients can exercise in the comfort of their own home to burn fat and strengthen legs.

The bike itself displays time, speed, distance, calories, pulse, and odometer.
