The legendary silver can has been given the makeover of a lifetime, with Asda launching a limited-edition pink version of the popular drink as part of the supermarket’s Tickled Pink campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Keen Diet Coke drinkers were quick to take to TikTok after discovering the limited edition cans in store.

On the app, one creator, who goes by the username @milliegrims, shared a video of her running through an Asda store to find the pink cans.

In the clip she is seen running to the store to get a multi-pack of Diet Cokes, securing them in the box before taking them home buckled in the passenger seat.

The new Diet Coke cans, which have been given their pink casing to help raise awareness for breast cancer, come in a stunning shade of pink with the campaign’s signature bow on the front of the can.

In addition to the cans, the brand has also designed bottles with stunning pink packaging.

Another creator, @elslifediariess, also used the app to share the discovery of the perfectly pink drinks.

The dazzling new designs come in multi-packs of 30 cans. Although their exterior is now adorned with a glamorous pink sleeve, the diet drinks still offer the same delicious taste.

It’s not just Diet Coke that has received a makeover, with many of the star’s other brands receiving stunning new packaging.

Among those given a new look are Heinz Baked Beans, Walkers Crisps, Aero Strawberry Melts, Marmite, Shreddies cereal, Hellman’s Mayonnaise and Jamie Dodgers.

Cereal brand Shreddies has turned its limited edition raspberry and white chocolate flavor into a Tickled Pink campaign, complete with a gorgeous pink box.

Luxury butter brand Lurpark also got involved, with a bright pink ribbon swirling over the tub.

Asda has been running its Tickled Pink campaign for 28 years, raising awareness of the disease, spearheading fundraising and encouraging women to check their breasts regularly.

The campaign is also partnering with Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!, to raise funds for treatment, offering education and support to those currently experiencing breast cancer.

Diet Coke lovers were delighted with the new version of the popular drink. One simply wrote: ‘Coke Light Pink oh my god!’ while another said ‘that’s so cute’.

A third wrote: “I don’t even like Coca-Cola but I want it.”

One American jokingly commented on the clip: “Respectfully TikTok, if a product is not available in my country, please keep it out of my FYP because now I want a pink Diet Coke that I can’t have.”

Customers who purchase products linked to the Tickled Pink campaign will help contribute to the cause by donating £1 to the cash fund.

It comes after Irish actor Jamie Dornan was revealed to be the new face of the brand.

Taking over the role previously held by 50 Shades of Gray actress Kate Moss, the hunk recently launched a racy campaign for the diet drink, which had fans’ hearts racing.
