“I knew they would be high waisted as they mentioned in the description, but … they just kept going … and going … and going … until they were all the way to my armpits!
“The legs fit beautifully, but dear God, the top half was very long. Now I’m not a little woman – I’m 5ft 8in – so who knows has a torso this size?
“I wasn’t mad at all about the fit to be honest, it was actually quite funny. I walked downstairs in embarrassment, but also tried to keep my laughter to show my family in the living room. I got down there and the burst of hilarity was priceless to say the least. ‘

Despite the unusual fit, Lucy revealed that she once wore the leggings to the gym, although she covered the waistband with a long top. Now she plans to hold the leggings and jokingly describe them as a ‘family heirloom’. Pictured, Lucy at home
Regarding her decision to share the video on TikTok, Lucy continued, “The leggings were on my bed and I was just thinking to myself,” I’d like to share this with my friends, I think they’ll laugh about it ” , that’s why I really made the video.
“I am absolutely thrilled that people have been working on my video and the fact that I put a smile on some people’s faces really makes me happy.”
She continued, “Before I posted the video, I had about 500 followers, and now I have 13,000, which is really hard to imagine in my head. And I’m so thankful for everyone who followed me and even just liked the video.
“I never thought in my life that one of my TikTok videos would ever get about 10 million views. But it was really great and a lot of fun, it definitely brightened up my time in lockdown for sure. ‘

She added, “These leggings have been seen by millions, I could never give them away now. It probably seems crazy, but they are now a memory and just something my family can look back on and laugh about.
“Definitely something to bring up at future family gatherings. So I know I’m going to keep them for sure. ‘
