Shopper Disgusted By Junk-Cluttered ‘Wild’ Beauty Section At Kmart: ‘What Happened Here, A War?’
- Customer surprised by the state of Kmart’s beauty aisle
- Video shows shelves full of trash, dirty labels and open bottles
- But other shoppers say their local Kmart is ‘always clean’
A customer criticized Kmart for the dirty state of the beauty section at his local store.
While browsing, the woman noticed that the shelves were “disgusting” and littered with junk instead of neatly lined with beauty products.
The shelves were full of brands, the popular stores looked dirty and some products had been opened.
Addie shared two videos on TikTok showing the terrible state of the shelves, leaving thousands of customers stunned.
She did not disclose where the Kmart store was located.
A customer was shocked by the filthy state of the beauty aisle at her local Kmart. In one video there was an unfinished drink in a plastic cup, dirty labels and damaged packaging.
Elsewhere in the video, there was an unfinished drink in a plastic cup with a straw on the shelf, dirty labels, damaged packaging, and what appears to be squirted shaving foam on the shelf.
In the second video, which has close to a million views, a bottle of Palmolive Kids soap was covered in an unknown brown substance.
Others seemed surprised by the videos, and many voiced their concerns in the comments.
However, many were also surprised by the state of the beauty aisle, saying that her store is “always clean.”

Elsewhere in the clip, he showed what appears to be shaving foam on the shelf.
‘What happened there, a whole war?’ one commented, another said: ‘Mine is cleaner then clean’.
“Yeah, that’s not what mine looks like,” said a third.
A Kmart employee then chimed in on the conversation and shared his thoughts.
“I work at Kmart, I have cleaned it so many times and customers do that,” she wrote.
A Kmart Australia spokesperson told FEMAIL that the brand welcomes customer feedback to ensure stores keep up.
“At Kmart we want everyone to have a pleasant shopping experience every time they visit us in the store,” the spokesperson said.
“We have done a lot of work on marketing our beauty area in all of our stores, including updating the packaging of many of our products to avoid clutter.
‘Our store teams work very hard to ensure that our product areas are presented in a coordinated and orderly manner.
“It seems like the TikTok video posted in May of this year is an exception to our beauty standards and we always welcome customer feedback to ensure our stores look their best and our customers have a great shopping experience.” buys”.
