- Two men shot Friday afternoon
Police shot two men at an apartment block in Sydney’s west.
It is understood the couple were rushed to Westmead Hospital after shots were fired on Lane Street in Wentworthville on Friday afternoon following an incident with NSW Police officers.
One man reportedly suffered head injuries, while the other suffered leg injuries.
Emergency services attended the scene, including several police cars, six ambulances and a helicopter.

Two men shot at apartment block in western Sydney
New South Wales police officers are seen at the scene of the shooting in western Sydney.
Police have cordoned off an area of the apartment block.
It is understood officers shot the two men following an incident on Friday afternoon.
