An Oklahoma woman has been charged with murder after she allegedly gave her dementia-stricken mother a loaded gun moments before shooting herself to death.
Prosecutors say Jaye Dee Watts, 44, berated her mother Lynda Watts, 72, to the point of suicide in September in Jones, about 20 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.
Watts allegedly ‘intentionally’ provided the gun to Lynda and suggested she take her own life, saying: ‘Do what you want with it, bitch.’ according to court documents seen by KOCO.
The duo’s home security camera captured images of the dramatic moments that led to Lynda’s suicide, according to court documents.
Watts, her mother’s primary caregiver, was seen on video verbally abusing Lynda while helping her to bed, calling her a “little girl” and ordering her to “take your pill or put on your shoes (sic) and die,” according to officials. .

Watts posed for his mugshot wearing a bright pink T-shirt that read, “People Suck.”
He threatened to lock Lynda in her room before leaving the room and returning with a drill and the loaded gun, according to prosecutors.
Watts then allegedly showed his mother how to remove the gun from its holster and threw it on his bed.
Lynda then shot herself twice.
Court documents state that Watts admitted to investigators that he gave the gun to his mother.
After an arrest warrant was issued, Watts turned herself in and was jailed in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Watts is charged with first-degree murder during the commission of a crime, second-degree murder, kidnapping and aiding suicide by providing a weapon.

She was released from jail on $1 million bail while she awaits trial.

It is unclear if Watts had any other close relatives in the photo, but his father Jay David Watts, after whom he was likely named, died in 2011 at the age of 58.
According to Watts’ now-deleted social media, he worked for T&J couture, which is registered online as a “domestic limited liability company” based in Jones, Oklahoma.
