The Trabuco Canyon Fire in Orange County began at 1:13 p.m. Monday afternoon, burning seven acres of land in just one hour.
By 4 p.m., the fire had already scorched 800 acres. Thirty minutes later, the blaze had already spread to 1,300 spots, according to fire officials.
At least three people were injured.
The airport fire broke out near a drone flight field. Some 1,000 firefighters tried to put out the blaze.

The Boyles Fire started Sunday and has burned at least 30 homes and buildings and 50 vehicles in Clearlake City, authorities said Tuesday.
More than 6,000 San Bernardino County residents were forced to flee the blaze.
