Jaw-dropping text messages have revealed a 44-year-old actress’ alleged plot to make a wealthy Vegas NHL mogul her boyfriend so she can drain his bank account.
Jennifer Courtemanche, 44, is accused of stealing nearly $445,000 from her ex-boyfriend, businessman Gavin Maloof.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police detectives discovered the text messages during an investigation into threatening messages and photographs received by Maloof, co-owner of the Vegas Knights hockey team.
The shocking text messages exchanged between Courtemanche and her friend Brittany Burgess date back to 2017.

His IMDb profile lists small roles in TV series such as You, The Vampire Diaries, Two and a Half Men, Gossip Girl, and 90210.
Maloof’s wealthy family is known for their reality TV appearances.
Her sister Adrienne Maloof starred in the series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Adrienne was married to plastic surgeon Paul Nassif, who appeared on another reality TV show, Botched, before the couple divorced in 2012.
The businessman reported the threatening messages and photographs he received to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, who traced the number to Courtemanche.
LVMP, with the help of the Los Angeles Police Department, went to the Sag-AFTRA actress’ home with a search warrant to seize her electronic devices in May, according to police records.
The alleged scam later came to light when police revealed how Courtemanche accessed Maloof’s cell phone and sent money from Maloof’s account to his via Apple Cash payments.

Maloof reported the threatening messages and photographs he received to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, who traced the number to Courtemanche.

Courtemanche gained access to Maloof’s cell phone and sent money from Maloof’s account to his own via Apple Cash payments.

She sent $93,448.00 in 2021, approximately $275,600.00 in 2022 and approximately $75,600.00 in 2023, according to the criminal complaint filed by the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office.
Of 214 transactions in which alleged theft was committed, 144 came from a phone number belonging to Burgess, who then sent the money back to Courtemanche, the report said.
Burgess received nearly $12,000 from the alleged scheme, while Courtemanche received nearly $433,000, according to police.
Investigators said they discovered 37 different phone numbers used in the operation.
The two women are named as co-defendants in a criminal complaint filed Oct. 4 in Las Vegas court, 8 News Now reported.
They face a total of six charges, including three counts of felony theft, as well as conspiracy to commit theft, conspiracy to launder or attempt to launder money and launder or attempting to launder money or property, which are serious crimes.
Judge Nadia Wood set Courtemanche’s bail at $10,000, ordered her to stay away from Maloof and allowed her to “walk through” the jail, meaning she didn’t have to stay in custody, according to Las Vegas Justice Court records.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 11 of next year.
Attorney Ryan Helmick, representing Courtemanche, declined to comment.
