This is the shocking moment a shopper vandalizes a phone store in west London and racially abuses a worker because they “refused” to give him a refund.

The woman pulled dozens of phone cases off shelves and threw them on the floor during the furious rampage at ElectTronex in Market Square in Uxbridge on Saturday.

Horrified onlookers watched as she repeatedly swore at the store worker and used a racial slur.

Separate images then show the woman, who was wearing a black vest, a cream-colored hoodie and a pair of black Mary Jane shoes, being handcuffed by three police officers inside the store.

Police told MailOnline that a 19-year-old woman was initially detained when officers attended the scene, but was not arrested after the victim said she did not want to press charges.

However, police said they will speak to store staff again after viewing video footage of the racist comments and threats.

She can be heard telling the worker that she is trashing the store because they “refused to refund” a phone she bought three months ago.

The phone was reportedly new when he bought it, but now he “needed money to buy something” so he wanted to return it.

The worker tells the woman: ‘You’re behaving like an idiot.’

But she says, “I don’t give a damn; you should have given me my damn money back then, b****.”

The woman then threatens to spit in the worker’s face while asking him where her bag is.

He also said that he would “go back to the mobile phone store every day.”

Members of the public and security guards blocked the woman inside the store when the Metropolitan Police were called.

The video was shared on TikTok and Instagram and social media users reacted to the clip with horror.

One person commented: “I’m speechless.”

Another said: “They should make her pick up everything and leave it exactly as it was.”

Others asked: ‘How could you (the store worker) remain so calm?’

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 1.09am on Saturday June 8 to a shop in the Pavilions shopping center in Uxbridge.

‘Officers attended and arrested a 19-year-old woman who was alleged to have thrown items in the store and abused staff.

‘The victim declared to the agents who treated him that he did not wish to give a statement or make any criminal accusation. The woman was not arrested.

‘Officers are now aware of a video subsequently posted online, which included racist comments and threats. This will be reviewed and officers will speak to store staff again.
