This is the moment a mother asks her 7-year-old to steal a purse unsupervised at a Georgia restaurant.

Surveillance video allegedly captured Kenya Butler, 28, of Union City, Georgia, encouraging her daughter to take an abandoned purse from a Juicy Crab stand.

“After the story hit the media, we were able to identify Kenya Butler as the perpetrator in this case,” Detective Taylor Dalton of the Newnan Police Department told Fox 5 Atlanta.

The suspect is charged with two crimes: contributing to the delinquency of a minor and theft by taking, according to Fox News Digital.

His daughter has no legal problems.

In the video, Butler is seen getting up from the table with his daughter and leading her to a table with an empty booth.

The mother, carrying another child in her arms, can be seen subtly nodding at her daughter to pick up the handbag without supervision.

The girl is seen hiding the purse as she leaves the restaurant.

The group the suspect was with ate dinner and stormed out, leaving a $500 bill unpaid.

Police said the suspect, a mother of three, refused to say why she allegedly told her daughter to take the purse.

A suspect, responsible for the unpaid invoice, is being sought by the authorities.

The man filmed was seen with tattoos on both arms and a shirt that read “Fake love, rich sex.”

Butler was arrested on March 13 and posted $2,300 bail for him that evening.

His court appearances have not yet been scheduled.

This isn’t the only time child stealers have made headlines in recent weeks. In one incident this month, three children nicknamed “Little Rascals” by the FBI were arrested for robbing the Houston Wells Fargo bank.

Police said the trio, aged 11, 12 and 16, passed a threatening note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There was also an arrest in December when a toddler in Ohio was caught stealing a package from a family’s porch before returning to his mother and running away.

In December, Jasmin Norman received a notification that her security camera had gone off, and when she checked it, she saw the toddler grab her Amazon package and run away.

By the time Norman arrived at the front door, the child had run towards a woman pushing a stroller and together they left the scene.

“I see what looks like a mother walking with a stroller and the baby running towards the lady who is pushing the stroller and continuing with her day. It’s very uncomfortable,” Norman said.

Norman revealed the package was supposed to be a surprise Christmas gift from her husband. She also said this was the second time a package had been stolen from her porch.
