Indianapolis Police Department officers said they arrived at the scene and found Dasaur on the ground with gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to hospital for treatment but died from his injuries.

The driver was reportedly detained but later released after investigators discovered he allegedly acted in self-defense.

“After further investigation and after consultation with the Marion County District Attorney’s Office, that individual was released,” the police spokesman said. USA Today.

‘He was a hard-working man who always went out of his way to help anyone and wanted to give the world to me and his family.

“He did not deserve to die this way. It is a tragedy that my husband was murdered in cold blood.”

Dasaur had started his own transport business in 2018 after completing a diploma in mechanical engineering in 2018.
